Summary
DropAcross moves files between your own devices only when you tell it to, and it sends nothing to us: no personal data is collected, stored or transmitted to ONE ABLE or any third party. There is no account, no analytics, no advertising and no server of ours in the path of your files. Everything the app does happens on your own local network.
What the app does with data
- File transfers. Files and folders you send travel directly from one device to another over your local Wi‑Fi/LAN. They are never uploaded to, cached on or relayed through any server. Every transfer is encrypted with TLS 1.3.
- Device discovery. The app announces the device name you choose (and a fingerprint of its security key) on your local network using Bonjour/mDNS so that other devices running DropAcross can find it. This announcement does not leave your network.
- Security keys. On first launch each device creates its own private key and certificate. The private key stays on that device (macOS: Keychain; iOS/Android/Windows: the app's private storage) and is never sent anywhere. Only its public fingerprint is shared with the devices you exchange files with.
- Trusted devices. When you choose “Always accept from this device”, the other device’s fingerprint and name are stored locally so future transfers from it are accepted automatically. You can clear this list in Settings at any time.
- Received files are written to the folder you choose (macOS default: Downloads/DropAcross; iOS: Files › On My iPhone › DropAcross; Android: Android/data/com.oneable.dropacross/files/DropAcross; Windows: Downloads/DropAcross) and remain entirely under your control.
- Settings (device name, receive mode, language, folder) are stored only on the device.
What we do not do
- No accounts or sign‑in, no e‑mail addresses, no phone numbers.
- No analytics, crash reporting, advertising identifiers or tracking of any kind.
- No network connections to us or to third parties. The only connections the app opens are peer‑to‑peer connections to the devices on your network that you choose.
- No access to your photos, contacts or files beyond the items you explicitly pick to send.
Purchases
The optional one‑time unlock is processed by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play). We receive no personal information from those purchases; the app only checks with the store whether the unlock has been bought. Their privacy policies apply to the purchase itself.
Permissions the app asks for

Deleting your data
Everything the app keeps is on your device, so you delete it there: remove received files from the receive folder (Finder / Files / your file manager) or from the app's received list; remove a remembered device with its − button; Settings → Known devices → Forget all clears every remembered device and pinned key. Uninstalling the app removes all of the above (on macOS also its container).
Children
The app has no content or features aimed at children and collects no data from anyone.
Changes
If this policy ever changes, the new version will be published at this address with a new “last updated” date.

การลบข้อมูล

เด็ก
แอปไม่มีเนื้อหาหรือฟีเจอร์สำหรับเด็กโดยเฉพาะ และไม่เก็บข้อมูลจากผู้ใช้ทุกคน
การเปลี่ยนแปลง
หากนโยบายนี้เปลี่ยน ฉบับใหม่จะเผยแพร่ที่หน้านี้พร้อมวันที่อัปเดตใหม่
